Catchline

Terms of use

Last updated 14 October 2026. Operator: Yash Gadodia, Singapore.

By using Catchline you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Catchline takes a short side-on video of one weightlifting or gymnastics rep, measures body and bar positions from it, and returns one technique cue with the measurement behind it. Some plans also remember past cues and tell you whether a cue stuck, let you send a lift to a coach, and export your data. We may change or withdraw features, and we will say so in the app when we do.

The cue is an AI estimate

Every cue is produced automatically from video measurements and rule tables. It is labelled "AI estimate" because that is what it is. Catchline is a coaching aid, not a coach, a physiotherapist or a doctor. It does not diagnose anything, it does not prevent injury, and it can be wrong, especially when the angle is off, the bar is hidden or the lighting is poor. You decide what to do with a cue. If something hurts, stop and see a professional. You lift at your own risk.

Plans, subscriptions and the founding purchase

Acceptable use

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content and our data

Your clips, stills and results stay yours. You give us permission to process them only as far as is needed to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. The original clip is deleted from our servers after analysis and within 24 hours at the latest.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app: You, then Delete account. This permanently removes your lifts, cues, stills and the account itself, and cannot be undone. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately with Apple.

Availability and liability

Catchline is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be available at all times, free of errors, or right about your technique. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of the app or from acting on a cue, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the consumer law where you live gives you rights that override this.

Changes

When these terms change we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms. For material changes we will tell you in the app.
